Re: Dr. Laura Gilmore- Wound Care Consults
Dr. Laura Gilmore is leaving GCMC as of Friday Sept 2nd. She has accepted a promotion with the Hill Medical Group to provide the physician oversight for all of their Wound Care clinics where their physicians provide care located throughout Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
Dr. Gilmore will not be available to take any new consults after 8/31/11 so that continuity of care for the patients can be assured.
We certainly thank the Hill Medical Group and especially Dr. Gilmore who has made such a positive impact both at the hospital and in our community. While we are sorry to see her leave, we certainly wish her well in her new position.
Dr. Ted Scott will be providing Wound Care coverage in the clinic and will be available for inpatient consults beginning Tuesday September 6, 2011. Dr. Scott has provided coverage for the clinic in the past and we are looking forward to having him provide coverage for HBO and wound care until a full time Wound Care physician is on board.
